Miniature Painting Tiers
Before jumping to the Tiers presentation, here are some explanations for the prices according to the mini size (assuming a scale from 25 to 32mm for humanoid) :
Single character : this is only one mini you want to get painted, generaly homanoid sized. This can be your PC, your army general, your BBEG...etc basically a single humanoid mini fitting on a 25-28-32mm base
Infantry/creature : humanoid or humanoid sized mini, fitting on a 25 to 32mm base and belonging to the same unit/specie and that share the same color schemes and specificities (ex : 10 skeletons, 5 space marines, 20 orcs, 10 wolves...Etc). Those prices start with 4 miniatures at least and can go up to...an infinite number of minies. Prices are lower than single characters as I can work on them in serie. Let's suppose you make a single mini in 2 hours, making 10 of them in serie with the same colors/techniques might take you 10 hours painting all of them at the same time instead of 20 hours going one by one.
Cavalry/monsters/40mm : Riding humanoid miniatures or monsters/troops that fit on a 40 mm base (ex : SM Terminators, Horse riders, Ogres...etc)
50+mm : Monsters or troops that fit on a 50 to 50*100mm base, such as trolls, minotaurs, hydras, Deadnoughts, Land Speeders, War Chariots...etc)
Giant/Dragon/Tank : everything that exceed a 50*100mm base such as great dragon, giants, land raiders...Etc
For even bigger minies or different base scale (such as 15mm or 54mm humanoid minies), we'll ajust the prices accordingly during our message exchanges.
Every painting tier has been designed in order to fit your levels of expectations and budgets, you'll find descriptions and exemples for each of them below.
Tier 1 : Kobold Tier
Designed for mass army (ex : Goblins, Skavens, Imperial Guard...Etc), numerous minion miniatures or quick needs
Painting process : Basecoats with airbrush/brush > Shade/Wash > One step highlight > Edge highlight
Bases : Simple base with brushed dirt/sand and an other element such as rocks, grass, snow, tufts, one step artificial water...Etc
Single character : not available (your heroes deserve better!!!)
Infantry/Creature : 6-10 €
Cavalry/Monster/40mm : 10-15 €
50+mm : 30-50 €
Giant/Dragon/Tank : 50-120 €
Tier 2 : Adventurer Tier
Designed for medium sized armies (AOS, W40k, Saga) with tabletop+ quality mini units, respectable PC figures, nice monstrers and enemies. Your minies will be in the top 25% of what you can find on a table for wargaming in the top 10% for TTRPG
Painting Process : Zenithal priming > Basecoat with airbrush/brush > Shade/Wash > Two step hilights > Lining > Layer separation > Details
Bases : contrasted base with mounting rock, 2 types of dirt/grounds, vivid and natural color variations, tufts/grass/snow or aquatic bases
Single character : 25-30 €
Infantry/Creature : 10-18 €
Cavalry/Monster/40mm : 20-25 €
50+mm : 40-80 €
Giant/Dragon/Tank : 60-180 €
Tier 3 : Heroic Tier
Designed for players who want quality painting and/or play squad sized games such as Shadespire/Kill Team/Infinity/Bloodbowl and want their miniatures to stand out even in playing competitions. Ideal for great looking monsters, heroes and villains. This tier will guarantee your RPG table to be above 95% of any other one in terms of painting quality and can be displayed in a tiny showcase/glass shelf without being shy.
Painting process : Zenithal priming > Pre-shading with airbrush > Basecoats with airbrush/brush > shading enrichment> 3 step hilight with smooth gradients > Edge Hilight > Small weathering with paint/pigment wash > Details > small enrichment on the main color > Small Freehands/Textures > Illusions > Fine details > Simple Object Source Lighting
Bases : Contrasted base with rock, terrain variations, ground variations, color shifts, more complex bases (bones, planks, crystals, roots...etc), perfectly integrated tufts, pigment wash/brushing for vivid and natural colors.
Single character : 45-60 €
Infantry/Creature : 20-30 €
Cavalry/Monster/40mm : 25-40 €
50+mm : 60-120 €
Giant/Dragon/Tank : 120-300 €
Tier 4 : Parangonic Tier
This tier is for someone who wants to treat it's army/general/hero/PC/BBEG/dragon/star miniatures with the respect they TRULY deserve. Every miniature painted at this level will be ready for exposition and will be jealously stared at by anyone at your table/game store/adventurer's league. Keep an eye on it !
Painting process : Same as above, but everything better, more subtle. Every color will get enrichments, every metal will get reflexions, NMM painting is possible, pigments will make the miniature look super natural, Object Source Lighting process will have color variations, freehands can be pushed super far...well, you get an exposition-level miniature and you'll be sure to get far better miniatures than 99,9% of your fellow players/tables
Bases : everything as above, but better and more complex. More pigments, carefully hand-glued leaves, lava bases, epic interior base...Etc. Opens the possibility to make thick transparent water layers with inclusion resin
Single character : 60-150€
Infantry/Creature : 25-60 €
Cavalry/Monster/40mm : 40-80€
50+mm : 80-250 €
Giant/Dragon/Tank : 150-800 €
Tier 5 : Epic Tier
This tier is for real heroes and demigods that will make everyone at your hobby store or adventure league stop their epic battles to admire your epic Adamantium Dragon, your mighty Avatar of Lolth or your magestic level 20 Paladin wearing it's blazing phoenix-armor and holy blade. You'll be sure that anyone looking at this mini will never forgive the fights it took part of.
This is simple : at this tier, I'll use my 14 years of painting for exposition at my local gamestore and painting contests to make your piece to the same level of those I make for contests. I also might ask my associates to work on the project as professional sculptors to achieve whatever you desires !
I won't hesitate to buy new paints/pigments/basing stuff/presentation base for your mini, sculpt details on it, add storytelling and props to the environment, cast resin and put it to the absolute maximum that my tiny hands can do to achieve the best result possible.
We will discuss a lot about the project and make sure that everything fits your desires to honor your legendary characters or monsters !
Also, you can ask us for a 100% unique miniature that will be sculpted on demand according to your character picture as we have a very good prefessional sculptor at our disposal who loves to sculpt uniques miniatures and who sculped a lot of the miniatures for Alkemy few years ago.

Miniatures can also be varnished at your demand (clear or semi-glossy, as you wish) for an additional 1€ per mini
For TIER 3 and above, you can also ask for a presentation base or diorama with emplacements for your minies to fit in.
